Botticino marble slab in warm beige with light veins

Botticino marble in Ahmedabad Warm, classic Botticino

A beige Italian marble from Lombardy with light veins and fine fossil detail — warm, hard-wearing and timeless.

About Botticino marble

Botticino is quarried near the town of Botticino, close to Brescia in northern Italy. Its ground ranges from warm ivory to soft beige, with light, irregular veins and small fossil inclusions that give the surface a gentle, natural texture. It has been used in classical buildings for centuries and remains a favourite where warmth matters more than stark white.

Botticino is relatively dense for a marble, which makes it a practical choice for floors and staircases. It suits traditional and transitional interiors, warm wood, and the soft light of Ahmedabad homes.

Best uses

  • Flooring in living areas, corridors and lobbies.
  • Staircases with classic bull-nose treads.
  • Wall cladding and columns in heritage-style interiors.
  • Borders and inlays combined with darker marbles.

Finishes, care and price

Botticino is usually polished, and also looks beautiful honed or brushed. Seal after installation and clean with pH-neutral products. Price depends on grade (Classico vs other selections), consistency, slab size and finish.
